Supported Independent Living (SIL)

The Help You Need To Live Independently

Help When You Need It. Space When You Don’t

Whether you’re looking for a shared home or support in your own place, we’ll work with you to make it happen.

We provide Supported Independent Living (SIL) for people who want their own space, their own routine, and their own way of doing things - with skilled support in the background.

Living independently doesn’t mean doing everything alone. It means having the right people around - when you need them, how you need them.

The Right Support In a Place You Can Call Home

Supported Independent Living (SIL) is NDIS-funded support that helps you live safely and independently.

SIL is suitable for people who require regular support throughout the day and/or night, either in a shared living arrangement or on their own.

It’s your home, your pace. We’re just here to help it work better.

We can help with things like:

Cooking, shopping, and planning meals

Personal care like showering and dressing

Cleaning and laundry

Keeping on top of appointments and reminders

Getting into a routine that works for you

Staying connected to community and social activities

Medication support or basic health needs

Shared Homes, Private Spaces, And Short-Term Options

We offer different SIL options to accommodate different living preferences and support needs.

Every house we support is different. What they have in common is safety, warmth, and space to be yourself. We also keep your pets in mind - they’re welcome too.

You Might Need SIL If…

You don’t need to fit someone else’s idea of “independence.” We’ll work with what’s right for you. SIL might be right for you if:

  • You’re looking for something more consistent and calm
  • You’re ready to leave a group home and live more independently
  • You need support with everyday routines, care, or safety
  • You want to live with others - or on your own
  • You want a say in who supports you and how

It’s Not Just About the House

We don’t just put you in a house and walk away. We build spaces that feel safe - with staff who stick around.

Our staff are trained in high-needs care, complex behaviours, and mental health - but they’re also kind, calm, and good company.

Here’s how we do things:

  • We match staff based on personality and support needs

  • We include you in every planning step

  • We stay involved after you move in - no drop-offs

  • Our leadership team knows each participant - you’re not just a name on a list

  • We welcome pets, guests, and real life

You’re Involved From the Start

We don’t rush decisions or make choices for you. We’ll help you explore your options, visit properties, and meet other participants or staff.

This is about getting it right for you - not just filling a spot.

  • What makes you feel safe?

  • What kind of people do you like living with?

  • Do you want more company, or more quiet?

  • What’s worked before - and what hasn’t?
